Editor review

Wave Volley is a radial-arena shooter where your ship orbits a central core. Eight enemy types; boss every tenth wave.

What works is the radial movement. You rotate in either direction; rear-fire gives offensive options on retreat.

Enemy variety is moderate. Eight types with four behaviour categories.

Tested over weekend sessions from Edinburgh plus a few Edinburgh tram rides. Gamepad analog stick is the right input.

Where the design earns its rating is the boss-every-tenth-wave structure. Each boss has unique attack patterns.

Where I would push back is the campaign length. Twenty-something waves total. Wave-survival mode unlocks after campaign but feels generic.

Three-and-a-half stars. Solid radial shooter.
